UA Student Med-Start Summer Employment

JOB TITLES: Full-time or Part-time Counselors for the Med-Start Health Careers Program (positions are subject to a background check, fingerprint investigation, and motor vehicle check).

DEPARTMENT: University of Arizona Health Sciences - Office of Diversity and Inclusion

DESCRIPTION: Primarily responsible for a group of approximately 10 high school students. Counselors also work as part of a team of 6-8 counselors aiding in the operation of the entire program.

The Student Transformative Experiences to Progress Under-represented Professionals (STEP-UP) in Cancer Prevention Program is now recruiting for Summer of 2019.  The program is seeking upperclassman Undergraduate and Master's level students who are under-represented in their communities to come to the University of Arizona for a 12-week educational experience in cancer prevention and control.

Banner UMC "VIP" Information Session

Banner University Medical Center has been working hard on planning an informational session for University of Arizona students re: our Volunteer Internship Program, slated to pilot this fall. The “VIP” program will provide students with the breadth of understanding the hospital as a social setting, with a segue into a more specialized focus area based on their interest where they can have mentorship and networking opportunities.
