What are Mind-Body Skills Teams?

Each week, our small teams gather to share, learn & build mindfulness practices.

The goal is greater calm, more self-awareness, and greater life intention.

Our 8-week wellness journey includes various evidence-based healing techniques:

  • Calming breathwork
  • Various forms of movement
  • Guided imagery meditation
  • Autogenics & biofeedback
  • Narrative meditation
  • Mindful & healthful eating
  • Creative expression
How can Mind-Body Skills support my well-being?

Everyone’s experience varies, but consistent Mind-Body practice may support:

  • Greater emotional balance
  • Improved stress management
  • Stronger connection with others
  • Better sleep habits
  • Support for managing chronic pain
  • Improved mood
  • Greater resilience and hopefulness
  • Increased focus and self-awareness
  • A stronger sense of overall well-being

  1. In-Person Team Option
    • Mondays, Sep. 21st - Nov. 9th
    • 2:30pm - 4:30pm
    • UA Main Campus, Forbes Building
       
  2. Online Team Option
    • Tuesdays, Sep. 22nd - Nov. 10th
    • 2:30pm - 4:30pm (AZ time)
    • Zoom - online

  • Including CALES majors or minors
  • Open to both undergrad & grad students
  • Each week builds into the next one
  • Participation is expected for all 8 weeks
