What are Mind-Body Skills Teams?
Each week, our small teams gather to share, learn & build mindfulness practices.
The goal is greater calm, more self-awareness, and greater life intention.
Our 8-week wellness journey includes various evidence-based healing techniques:
- Calming breathwork
- Various forms of movement
- Guided imagery meditation
- Autogenics & biofeedback
- Narrative meditation
- Mindful & healthful eating
- Creative expression
How can Mind-Body Skills support my well-being?
Everyone’s experience varies, but consistent Mind-Body practice may support:
- Greater emotional balance
- Improved stress management
- Stronger connection with others
- Better sleep habits
- Support for managing chronic pain
- Improved mood
- Greater resilience and hopefulness
- Increased focus and self-awareness
- A stronger sense of overall well-being

- In-Person Team Option
- Mondays, Sep. 21st - Nov. 9th
- 2:30pm - 4:30pm
- UA Main Campus, Forbes Building
- Online Team Option
- Tuesdays, Sep. 22nd - Nov. 10th
- 2:30pm - 4:30pm (AZ time)
- Zoom - online

- Open to all CALES students
- Including CALES majors or minors
- Open to both undergrad & grad students
- Each week builds into the next one
- Participation is expected for all 8 weeks
