Tatum Champion

Hi, I'm Tatum Champion! I am a senior majoring in Human Development & Family Science with a minor in Educational Psychology. 

I chose HDFS because I knew I wanted a career where I could work with people and help them, but my overall goal was broad when I first declared into HDFS. Since taking multiple classes and talking with my professors, I have decided I want to pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I have been a Peer Mentor for 1.5 years, but this is my first year as a Lead Peer Mentor. In addition to this, I do research with Dr. Jeannette Maré for SciKind, I am interning with a counseling program that works with TUSD schools, I am a TA for 3 classes within the Norton School, and I am part of 2 clubs on campus (HDFS Ambassadors and Student Alumni Ambassadors). Outside of school, I love to read, hike, and hang out with my friends.
