Jamie Stowe

Before joining the University of Arizona, Jamie served as Director of Development for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University Foundation. During his tenure, he raised over $4.1 million in his first year, contributing to more than $24 million raised for CALS in FY24. Jamie also led fundraising efforts at the Iowa State University Alumni Association, where he personally raised over $10.5 million and helped surpass the capital campaign goal by 110%.

During his 12 years at the Iowa State University Foundation, Jamie also worked as a Director of Development for the Central/Regional Development team at Iowa State playing a key role in the ISU Foundation’s capital campaign. He also served as Director of Development/Qualifier.

Jamie’s career also includes significant experience in athletics, where he was Assistant Director of Athletics & Student Activities and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Cape Fear Community College, earning Coach of the Year honors in 2003. He has also held coaching roles at Pratt (KS) Community College, Marshalltown (IA) Community College, and Des Moines (IA) Area Community College.

Jamie holds a Master of Education in athletic administration and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from Iowa State University. He also earned an Associate of Arts degree from North Iowa Area Community College. His leadership has been recognized through roles such as Assistant Director for the National Junior College Athletic Association (Region X) and President of the Great Wilmington (NC) Sports Commission.
