Bio: Zohra Khan is a leading global advocate for gender equality, currently serving as Senior Policy Advisor at UN-Women, where she spearheads initiatives on gender budgeting and financing. With over 25 years of experience in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe, Ms. Khan is recognized for her pioneering work in shaping fiscal policies to promote women’s rights worldwide. Her career highlights include advancing legal reforms in South Africa’s post-Apartheid legal system as a Senior Researcher at the Commission on Gender Equality; and analyzing the impact of international aid and trade on women’s livelihoods, as One World Action’s Gender Policy Officer in the UK.
