Gracie Ann Fischer is a Ph.D. student working in the Combrink Wildlife Health Lab in U of A’s School of Natural Resources and the Environment. Her work focuses on understanding how diseases are transmitted from wildlife to people.

Join us as Gracie shares her research on West Nile virus, one of the world’s most common mosquito-borne diseases. We will explore where West Nile virus is found around Tucson, learn about the research happening at the Dr. Richard G. Snyder Wildlife Refuge, and talk about what it means for our community, local wildlife, and the environment.
