The Ag 100 Council brings together industry leaders that champion the needs of Arizona agriculture and natural resource industries and secure essential support for the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences. By turning shared industry expertise into direct action, we create lasting benefits for students, researchers and communities across Arizona.
Facility investments
Secured $18 million to fund the College of Veterinary Medicine and the CALES Food Product and Safety Lab.
Extension & research
Work towards sustained legislative funding for Cooperative Extension offices and agricultural research stations statewide.
Student scholarships
Directly funded practical research projects and academic scholarships for future agricultural leaders.
Academic endowments
Established an endowed chair in agricultural economics to support long-term rural policy and economic research.

Supporting Arizona agriculture and CALES since 1986
The AG 100 Council brings together agricultural leaders, industry professionals and university experts to support the land-grant mission of the University of Arizona College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences (CALES).
Through advocacy, engagement, and statewide collaboration, the Council provides an industry forum to address critical issues—including water, labor, land management, and rural infrastructure—while strengthening the relationship between Arizona agriculture and the Division. By supporting teaching, research and Cooperative Extension, AG 100 helps ensure the university’s work directly serves the practical needs of the state’s agricultural and natural resource industries.
Events and meetings
AG 100 members get access to three signature meetings each year: a fall meeting in Phoenix, a winter meeting in Yuma, and a spring meeting in Tucson.
These meetings are designed to keep members connected to current issues, legislative priorities, university initiatives and one another. They also create an important forum for dialogue with CALES leadership, faculty and guest speakers. Members receive meeting invitations six to eight weeks in advance, giving time to plan and participate.
