USDA Internships

The summer 2018 internship application period is Jan. 22-26.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers semester-long paid internships each semester (spring, summer and fall) located in all 50 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. Collegiate students (sophomore status and above) or students having completed one full year of college, professional program, trade school, or other, with a direct interest in agriculture (production, law, communications, business, technology, etc.) can apply.

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association which represents the elected and appointed commissioners, secretaries, and directors of the departments of agriculture in all fifty states and four U.S. territories.

Our Mission Statement

NASDA grows and enhances agriculture by forging partnerships and creating consensus to achieve sound policy outcomes between state departments of agriculture, the federal government, and stakeholders.
