Secondary Principles of Interest

Teachers can transfer interest.
Progress strengthens interest.
Suspense creates interest.
An idea, when accepted, becomes a new interest center, from which interest will spread to other connected ideas.
The novel and unexpected are interesting.
Humor creates interest.
