"Satisfyingness" of the practice or its results promotes learning insofar as it makes for intensity of experience or encourages further practice; "annoyingness" of the practice, or its results, may promote learning insofar as it makes for intensity of experiences or causes better responses to be made instead of less appropriate ones, but hinders learning insofar as it discourages further practice or response.
