The Mount Graham Red Squirrel Monitoring Program has been collecting weather data on Mount Graham since 1996. Data is collected from both of our study areas: a lower elevation, mixed-conifer forest study area and a higher elevation spruce-fir forest study area. For the sake of easy viewing, we have broken our data into two time periods: 1996 - 2000 and 2001 to present. Rain data is unavailable during the winter months as we disonnect the rain gague during this time to prevent misinterpreting snowmelt as rainfall.
