What is the Mind-Body Skills Program?

A powerful and effective combination of evidence-based mind-body healing interventions to help you grow. This empowering experience of self-discovery is designed to help you unlock greater personal and academic potential.

Our 8-week program will give you the skills you need to thrive on your college journey. This includes a toolkit of powerful techniques like:

  • Mindfulness 
  • Breathwork
  • Biofeedback
  • Guided Imagery
  • Movement
  • Journaling & Drawing

Immerse yourself in our supportive communities, limited to 10 members each, and experience the benefits of personalized attention and mentorship. Develop friendships, share your journey, and find the support you need to thrive in college.

How to Apply

Applications for the Fall 2024 Mind-Body Skills Program are open until September 19, 2024.

  • Open to all CALES students (both undergraduate and graduate).
  • Each week builds into the next one, so full participation is expected for all 8 weeks.

Program meeting dates

The Spring 2024 CALES Mind-Body Skills Program will have two cohorts, one offered online and one offered in person. 

  • In-Person Team Option
    • Mondays, September 23rd - November 18th, 2:30pm - 4:30pm (no meeting Veterans Day)
    • Location: UA Main Campus, Forbes Building
  • Online Team Option
    • Thursdays, September 26th - November 14th, 10:00am - 12:00pm (AZ time zone)
    • Location: Online via Zoom
