Reading assignments will be drawn from the RTIP 142 Resource Book that is found in its entirety on this site. You may want to aquire the following as they are excellent additional resources for the novice. The books can be purchased through Amazon.com and well as other local and online booksellers.
Additional perspectives and information is provided by lectures presented by guest speakers who have been invited to address the students at the University of Arizona. Excerpts of these presentations will be integrated into the lecture portion of the appropriate modules.
Various worksheets and exercises are provided throughout the course. These activities are not submitted to the instructor for points but instead serve as "self-quizzes," providing you the opportunity to test yur understanding of the material presented. Answer sheets are provided for you to check your work.
Points will be earned on 3 quizzes shceduled during the semester and a cumulative final exam. Quiz dates may be found in the syllabus.
Students are encouraged to share intellectual views and discuss freely the principles and applications of the course materials. However, graded exercises must be executed independently, except as noted by the instructor. This course operates under the UA Code of Academic Integrity as described in the UA General Catalog.
