A graduate of the Race Track Industry Program (RTIP), Wendy is one of two associate coordinators of the RTIP. She is also the primary student advisor, helping students through the process of getting into the program and then getting through it!

Davis is also the RTIP's point person for the coordination and conduct of the Racing Officials Accreditation Program for flat racing, harness & greyhound stewards/judges. Prior to joining the RTIP staff, Davis was involved with the University of Arizona as the manager of the Equine Unit of the UA's Campbell Avenue Agricultural Complex.

Davis has extensive experience in the equine industry. For years she owned and ran Simpatico Farm, a full-service equine business which included breaking, training and instruction of numerous equine disciplines and activities. She also worked in the animal health side of the industry aiding in anesthesia for a large animal surgical clinic.

The RTIP staff and faculty have eachmade a commitment to not only provide excellent service to students who are participating in the program but to also get to know each student. Wendy Davis (wdavis@ag.arizona.edu) is available at any time, via e-mail, to answer questions about the coursework or about continued participation with the RTIP.
