Race Track Industry Program

The final exam is cumulative and utilizes the same question format you have learned to expect on the quizzes. The difference is that the questions on the final are designed to allow you to integrate all the information you have gained from the class and generally include an opportunity for you to compare and contrast rather than focus on just one segment of the industry. Examples include:

• What is the difference in the pre-race warm up for the thoroughbred as compared to the standardbred racehorse?

 

• Compare the type of inside rail (of the race track) used for thoroughbred racing, quarter horse racing, greyhound racing and harness racing.
