Bianca Levario
Program Coordinator, Frances McClelland Institute for Children, Youth, and Families
Bianca started serving the Tucson community in 2013 upon graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and Education. With a commitment to community engagement, education, and social justice, Bianca began her career as support staff with Tucson Unified School District. During her six-year tenure within the public school system, Bianca actively advocated for underserved students and families by providing intensive case management and mentorship opportunities.
Having accumulated six years of invaluable experience in the public education sector, Bianca transitioned to higher education. In 2022, Bianca completed her Masters in Education Policy from The University of Arizona. Over the past three years, she has been instrumental in managing research grants in the field of social sciences, demonstrating her commitment to bridging research and practice that help promote inclusivity efforts among underserved populations.
Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at the Frances McClelland Institute (FMI) for Children, Youth, and Families, Bianca coordinates various programs and events and oversees daily operations within the FMI community. Bianca also helps coordinate the Science of Kindness in Communities Collective, a cross-campus research partnership working in collaboration with local organizations to infuse evidence-based practices throughout the community and to mutually support ongoing learning and practice, creating a community culture that leads to more kindness, connection, and learning.
