Dr. Romero received the Mujer En La Lucha Award from the Arizona Cesar E. Chavez Coalition at the Dolores Huerta Luncheon on March 8th, 2016! 

This award is given to a woman working for social justice, dignity, and respect for all. The Mujer En La Lucha is a women with at least 10 years of service to social justice through building coalitions, making positive change, and advocating against oppression.
