Family Engagement Program Intern

Part-time position and stipend.

The Family Engagement Program at UArizona Cooperative Extension helps families with children aged 0-18 to create a rich learning environment for their children. We have a number of unique programs including a new project to build Developmental Solutions Workshops for families with children with speech delays. The Special Projects & STEM Class Development member will gain key program building experience by assisting with logistics, communication and other programming needs.

Animal Therapy Intern

Part-time and unpaid.

Pawsitive Friendships therapy team provides goal–orientated animal therapy to individuals with special needs in an educational, clinical and day program settings. We work hand in and with the facilities to develop a custom program to meet the goals for their clients. Our program has proven to increase social skills, communication, motivation, fine and gross motor skills, self–regulation as well as decrease anxiety.
