Program: Nature Niños is a collaborative community initiative targeted to young children, ages 0-8, and their families with the objective of building a positive relationship with the outdoors and supporting them with ways to explore, learn and play that promote positive family connections and well-being.  The success of Nature Niños Prescott has prompted other communities throughout Arizona to reach out to Prescott (in Cochise County, Pinal County and Pima County) to learn how start their own Nature Niños

Internship

Divorce Recovery offers college credit for University of Arizona students, with a commitment of one semester. Please note that hours for an internship varies by department. Check with your Academic Advisor for approved units of credit, requirements, and paperwork.

[CLOSED] Registered Behavioral Tech (RBT)

UCP of Southern Arizona’s ASCEND program offers home-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. ASCEND conducts a thorough assessment and develops a customized teaching plan for the unique needs of each child with a focus on building functional skills and decreasing challenging behaviors.

[CLOSED] Imagine Your STEM Future Program (IYSF)

The Women in Science and Engineering Program (WISE) seeks 3-4 University of Arizona students to serve as near-peer mentors and outreach educators in the Imagine Your STEM Future Program. The Imagine Your STEM Future Program (IYSF) is a collaboration between WISE and Raytheon focusing on conducting outreach education to high school girls and fostering female-empowerment within the STEM fields. IYSF mentors facilitate STEM lessons between 2-3 days per week in the Sunnyside Unified School District.
