The Knowledge Base

The ART group has created a knowledge base to provide information about common problems encountered when using ESRI software products. The topics include data import and conversion, use of commands, and tips and tricks to obtain proper display of data. Each topic includes general information and procedural instructions.

To begin, choose from one of the following topics:

• Create a Personal Geodatabase in ArcGIS

• Create a Hillshade in ArcView 3.x

• Create Metadata with ArcGIS

• Install ArcIMS 3.1 with the following configuration:

  • Windows 2000 Server, Apache 2.0, Tomcat 4.01

• Install ArcIMS 4.0 with the following configuration:

  • Windows 2000 Server, Apache 2.0, Tomcat 4.01

• Reproject Geospatial Data

• SDTS Data Import/Conversion
