Addison, Figure 6: Seasonal Bedouin camp at Project site

Here, a summer 2004 photo shows a seasonal Bedouin encampment on the expansion site of the Wastewater Re-use Project, where irrigation lines have not yet been put into place. A flock of goats can be seen next to the tent, while in the upper section of the photo is a field of traditional dry-farmed barley. A somewhat newer, but nonetheless well established tradition is the use of pick-up trucks for transportation.
