 This issue's cover image is from Erin Addison's article, "Political Effluent: Implementing wastewater re-use in Wadi Musa, Jordan." In this photo, taken by the author in summer 2004, farmers participating in the Wadi Musa Wastewater Re-use Project's demonstration farm are harvesting the first crops grown with treated effluent from the Wadi Musa Wastewater Treatment Plant. In the foreground of the image, some of the tubing laterals used for crop irrigation can be seen.
