These photographs show three variations on the basic style of adobe house built in Bosque Farms, New Mexico, during the 1930s. The photo top left most clearly shows the shed-style roof with a parapet on three sides. In this case, the low side of the roof is situated over a side wall of the house. In the photo top right, the low side of the roof is on the front side of the house. In the photo bottom left, a porch has been added to the front of the house. All three houses show slight variations in the placement, size, and number of the double-hung windows. |
