Growing in sandy soil derived from cyanite w/ Acacia gerrardii, A. karroo, A. rehmanniana, A. sieberiana, Albizia amara, A. antunesiana, Aloe aculeata, Commiphora spp., Combretum apiculatum, C. molle, Dichrostachys cinerea, Dovyalis caffra, Ehretia rigida, Erythrina latissima, Euclea spp., Euphorbia ingens, Ficus spp.
