Shashi Wilderness Camp, near Tuli, E side of Shashi River, Machuchuta Communal Land. Near 21°57'S x 29°13'E. Elev. ca. 300-600 m.

Setting Circumstances

Very thin-stemmed, extremely spiky sub-shrub. Growing on shallow brown soil over weathering rock and gravel w/ Abutilon angulatum, Commiphora africana, C. glandulosa, C. tenuipetiolata, Lonchocarpus capassa, Xanthocercis zambesiaca.
