E bank of Tati River, near Francistown, edge of grounds, Marang Hotel. 21°10'S x 27°28'E. Elev. 1000-1,150 m.

Setting Circumstances

Tall, mature trees to 18 m with rounded crowns and open canopy. Growing on sandy soil with Acacia fleckii, A. erubescens, A. karroo, A. tortilis, Combretum imberbe, C. hereroense, Peltophorum africanum.
