N of the mouth of Mill Canyon and W of Cotter Mine Road, ca 1.6 air mi NNW of Courthouse Rock, ca 15 air mi NW of Moab. Elev. 4520 ft.

Setting Circumstances

Light-colored, silty clay soil with hard stony crust on mostly barren, eroded hillslopes; with Atriplex, Coleogyne, Stanleya, Xylorhiza. Locally common.
