Near boundary of Mazwi Nature Reserve, ca. 20 km W of Bulawayo. Near 20°04'S x .28°20'E. Elev. ca. 1,250 m.

Setting Circumstances

Perennial shrublet to 20 cm, yellow flrs, growing on sandy soil derived from contact between Kalahari sand, basalt, and cyanite gravel in mixed woodland w/ Acacia erioloba, A. fleckii, A. nigrescens, Albizia harveyi, Bauhinia petersiana, Combretum sp., Dichrostachys cinerea, Erythrina latissima, Grewia spp., Indigofera spp., Neorautanenia amboensis, Terminalia spp.
