What makes CALES perfect for you
Learning Lab
Powered by the SALT Center
The CALES Learning Lab offers students free one-on-one sessions with a Learning Coach and access to skill development support, workshops, major-specific resources, university opportunities, and tutoring, if necessary.
CALES Career Center
We want our students to graduate with job offers! That's why our CALES Career Center staff help you gain professional skills, perfect your resume, network with industry leaders, and land your dream internship or job.
CALES Scholarships
CALES students are awarded over $1 million in college scholarships each year, and that’s on top of aid you may qualify for from the university or outside sources! Thanks to donations from our community and alumni, you don't have to pay for your program all by yourself.
Find your community at CALES
Research shows that students who are highly involved in co-curricular activities are three times more likely to be considered for a job than uninvolved students.1 Fortunately, CALES has countless ways for you to get involved!
Clubs and organizations
Are you hoping to find friends and build a network? We offer clubs, extracurricular activities and student organizations so you can find your community during college. From major-specific clubs (like Biosystems Engineering Club or Environmental Science Club) to interest-based clubs (like Haus of Style or Conscious Kitchen Club), there's something for everyone in CALES!
CALES Wellness
CALES offers no-cost comprehensive wellness services to our students. Throughout the semester, you can meet with a wellness expert, schedule a therapy session or join a wellness class or group to forge meaningful connections and elevate your well-being.
CALES First Gen
Are you a first-gen college student? If so, you're invited to join CALES First Gen! This community offers access to networking events, our "First Gen Den," and valuable university-wide resources and services tailored to meet your needs.
