Trunks: Trunks and branches are subject to sunburn; do not prune lower branches that shade the trunk.

Stems: Large dark green leaves with a large winger petiole (leaf stem)
Range/Origin: The West Indies were the point of origin for grapefruit, probably as a cross between the pomelo and an orange

Hardiness: Sunset zones 8, 9, 12 - 24, H1, H2

Comments: Seasonal litter, fruit drop, thorns
