Well, this is a little
hard to do. If you look backward 25 years,
you will get an idea of how difficult it is to look forward a similar number
of years. However, it is even more difficult, as the rate of change of new
technology and its impacts on society is increasing, and the other changes
that interact with such change causes even more change. The purpose of this
page is to give you some ideas about what others think could happen. This
is not an exhaustive listing of the many forecasts and ideas about the future.
Keep in mind that 25 years is a LONG time to make a forecast when change is
rapid and uncertainty high.
