Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed
here. Corn earworm: Moth activity remains seasonably low, similar to this time last season. Beet armyworm: Moth activity increased slightly in some locations in Dome Valley. Cabbage looper: Cabbage looper moth activity remains above normal over the past 2 weeks with the higher nighttime low temperatures. Whitefly: Adults captures on sticky traps remain seasonably low, similar to last season. Thrips: Thrips activity increased slightly in some locations, particularly in the Yuma Valley. Aphids: Trap activity for aphids is down in most traps locations, comparable to last season. However, most aphids captured on traps were green peach aphids. Leafminers: Adult activity remain at seasonal low levels at most trap locations; activity up somewhat in Dome Valley. Diamondback moth: Moth activity is at seasonal low levels with the exception of a few traps in the north and south Yuma Valley.
