Areawide Insect Trapping Network (November 29, 2017)
Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed here.

Corn earworm: Moth activity remains low, and at levels similar to last season.

Beet armyworm: Moth activity remains higher than catches this time last season. Appear to be most active in the Dome and Gila Valley.

Cabbage looper: Similarly, cabbage looper activity much greater than this time last year, but beginning to subside with cooler weather.

Whitefly: Adults captures on sticky traps decreased in the past two weeks, and consistent with levels found this time last year.

Thrips: Thrips activity remain seasonably low at most trap locations with the exception of the Roll and Wellton.

Aphids: Aphid activity Down in most trap location consistent with activity this time of the year.

Leafminers: Adult activity increased significantly in the east county over the past 2 weeks, and is unusually high in Dome Valley and Wellton for this time of the year.
