Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed here.

Corn earworm: Moth activity remains low, and at levels similar to last season.

Beet armyworm: Moth activity appears to be a bit higher than catches this time last season. Appear to be most active in the Dome and Gila Valley.

Cabbage looper: Cabbage looper activity much greater than this time last year , particularly in Tacna and the North Gila Valley.

Whitefly: Adults captures on sticky traps increased again in the past two weeks. Counts higher near fields where melons are harvesting.

Thrips: Thrips activity remain seasonably low at most trap locations with the exception of the Roll area where harvested melon fields are harvested

Aphids: Aphid activity increased significantly around early Nov in the Yuma Valley associated with the winds coming out of the south. Aphids numbers are much higher than what we observed this this time last year.

Leafminers: Adult activity increased significantly in the east county over the past 2 weeks, and is unusually high for this time of the year.
