Areawide Insect Trapping Network (January 20, 2016)
Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed here.

Corn earworm: Corn earworm moth activity has been near zero for the past 2 weeks.

Beet armyworm: Captures of beet armyworm moths were negligible over the past few weeks, and overall, at their lowest point of activity for the season thus far.

Cabbage looper: Captures of cabbage looper moths increased slightly in the past two weeks, and similar to activity observed at this time last season.

Whitefly: Adults were not captures on sticky traps over the past two weeks.

Thrips: Thrips movement was low in most areas, but did increase slightly on traps near Texas Hill.

Leafminers: Numbers on traps are very low across all trap locations.

Aphids: Alate (winged) aphids continue to show up on traps at low levels. Activity was greatest in the Yuma Valley.
