Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed
here. Corn earworm: Corn earworm moth activity has deceased to very low levels across all trapping locations consistent with lower temperatures we generally experience this time of the year. Beet armyworm: BAW activity decreased slightly in most areas, but moth captures remain steady in the many trap locations. Activity is quite a bit lower than this time last season. Cabbage looper: Cabbage looper moth activity remains light compared to last year, but has increased in the Gila Valley. Whitefly: Adult movement is very low consistent with cooler temperatures. Thrips: Thrips movement is on the decline in all areas, and at very low levels. Leafminers: Adult activity is low at all trapping locations. Aphids: Aphids are consistently showing up in many locations in moderate numbers and on the rise in the Gila and Yuma Valley.
