Areawide Insect Trapping Network (Feb 4, 2015)
Results of pheromone and sticky trap catches can be viewed here.

Corn earworm: Corn earworm moth activity remains very low with very few captures in the traps and very similar to trends observed last year.

Beet armyworm: BAW activity is still relatively active in some locations, particularly compared to this time last season.

Cabbage looper: Cabbage looper moths remain active as well, similar to trends seen last January.

Whitefly: Adult movement remains very low which is to be expected.

Thrips: Similarly, Thrips movement in very low in most areas, comparable to what we saw last fall.

Leafminers: Numbers on traps remain low across all trap locations.

Aphids: Alate (winged) activity was low over the past two weeks, with a slight peak last week, but much less compared to the peak activity seen in 2014.
