The proposed building will feature classrooms with state-of-the-art facilities. Each classroom will be equipped with wireless networking, videoconferencing capabilities, and multimedia teaching tools. The largest of these high-tech rooms is a 100-seat classroom. It will serve as a large lecture hall and a multipurpose room, and will get tremendous use, with students spending over 200,000 “seat hours” there each year. Sixty- and 80-seat rooms will also serve retailing, marketing, and business majors, and will host a variety of experiential learning workshops.
